Doing our part for our planet

At Thames Laundrette, we understand how important our environment is to us and we need to make sure that we do our part to keep our planet alive and preserve our wildlife and mother nature, not just for ourselves but for our future generation and the future generation after that too.

We are proud to take out first step to helping our planet and TLDC will be reducing its carbon footprint. We will replacing plastic bag packaging for our duvets, pillows and beddings to environment friendly fabric zipped covers.

Did you know, every day approximately 8 million pieces of plastic pollution find their way into our oceans and 100,000 marine mammals and turtles and 1 million sea birds are killed by marine plastic pollution annually (source: sas.org.uk)

This may be a small step in helping becoming environment friendly but it is a positive step in the right direction and we will be continuing to find ways to help reduce the our carbon footprint.
